Video: rapist of 1-year-old girl burnt alive in Brazi

A graphic video has taken the internet by storm after a group of people in Brazil burnt a suspected child rapist alive.

A person, who according to social media, is a suspect in a case of raping a 1-year and 7-month-old girl was arrested by the police. However, residents wanted to revenge by themselves.

Unconfirmed reports revealed that dozens of people broke into a police station in Brzail where the suspected rapist, named Gregório Patrício da Silva, was held in the municipality of Jutai, Amazonas and then they set him ablaze.

According to some news websites, Brazilian man Gregório Patrício, 48, raped the toddler, identified as Layla Vitória. On the night of Sept. 19, residents of the town of Jutai, Amazonas invaded the 56th Police Station calling for justice for the baby girl.

An X user posted a thread clarifying what happened and wrote: “A man suspected of raping, murdering and dumping the body of a one-year-old girl in a river was beaten and burned alive by a mob on Thursday night (19/9/2024) in Jutaí, Amazonas State, Brazil.”

Footage showing a large number of people beating the Brazilian man with sticks before they set him ablaze has gone viral on social media.

Amid many unconfirmed reports, no official source has come out and clarified what is the truth behind the viral video of a person being burnt to death alive.
